GUIDANCE FOR APPLICANTSRequest an Application PackWe can only accept applications on our application form. Our application pack contains the form and also guidelines detailing the type of things we fund together with general advice on making an application. It is extremely important to read this before completing the application form. Both the Guidelines and Application Form are available on this website. Alternatively, for an application pack, contact the office. Or you can send us an with your full postal address, telephone number and details of and we will send you a pack.
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the Application Form. Discuss your application with usWe encourage applicants to discuss their project with us before completing the application form. This will help ensure that your project is within our criteria and that you are applying for an appropriate amount. You will also be informed of when you should hear a decision. Again, contact the office. Complete the Application FormEither complete the paper version of the form, take the form from this website or use your own word processor to type out the form. If you have any questions while completing the form, give us a call. Once the form is completed, ensure you have the included the necessary attachments (a "tick list" is included at the end of the form) and send it to the office. Receipt of all applications will be posted within 5 working days. AssessmentWe will assess your application. This usually occurs by meeting/visit. We will always ring you first to arrange an appropriate time to speak/meet. It may be helpful if you keep a copy of the application you sent in so you can answer any questions more easily. The final decision is made by the Foundation's Trustees and can take up to three months. A DecisionYou will receive a letter from us telling you our decision. If you have been successful, the payment may be made direct into your bank account, a cheque may be attached to the letter or we may request an invoice for goods which we will pay direct to the approved supplier. If you have been unsuccessful, the letter will outline the broad reason why we turned down your application. If you are unsuccessful you may re-apply after a period of one year from the date of the decline letter. If you have received a grantWe require written confirmation that you have received the funds and that they will be applied in the way specified in our letter. Also: If you receive a "one-off" single paymentOf £5,000 or over you will receive a feedback form which we ask you to complete and send periodically as stated in the terms of the grant offer letter. Visits:We may visit a number of projects that we have fund. Unfortunately, we cannot visit all projects. We will be in touch with you if we would like to visi t. Making a further applicationIf you have received a grant from us, we generally ask for a gap of two years from the date of the final payment before you send in another application. HOW TO CONTACT US
